Golf club shaft replacement...? (Answers: 10) (Comments: 0)
I do golf club repair work as a little side business. Pretty sexy for a chic eh?! Anyway, I need to replace a shaft on a King Cobra driver as the guy 'doesn't like it'. I am however nervous about using a heating gun on the hosel to loosen the epoxy inside because of the decorative black enamel on top of the head. I am afraid the enamel will bubble & get damaged from the heat. Any suggestions? Or should I just tell the guy it can't be done? Well, Sebastian..This involves removing the head..with a blow torch...U still game?
